In-Code modelling and a library of associations

New project - this site is close to the completion.

• The tutorial for the Java version (jlib) is still missing.

This project provides a simple and practical tool for building model driven architectures. It combines two innovations which, together, lead to a major (2x or more) improvement of software quality and productivity:

This site provides two parallel implementations with identical functionality in C++ and in Java . This is all basic "core" programming which is platform independent. The software was developed under WinXP, but it was written in a style which should require no or minimal conversion to UNIX.

If you want to see how all this works and how the associations are implemented, look at C++ tutorial or Java tutorial. For the description of the independent UML generator, see additional data structures and/or design patterns. At the moment, the project has the following sub-projects:

• alib - C++ library of associations,
• jlib - Java library of associations,
• layout - generates the UML diagram from an intermediate file produced by either library.

The idea has a potential to stir up a real software revolution similar to the one caused by the introduction of structured programming.

The methodology has been successfully used on many complex commercial projects. All the software available on this site is free Open Source.
